Visalia, California - Patricia Lynn (Alvarez) O'Donoghue, beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away on April 15th, 2023, at the age of 61. She was born on April 12th, 1962, in Visalia, California, and was known for her entrepreneurial spirit, love for music, and unwavering passion for art. Patricia was a successful businesswoman who ran an IT business alongside her husband, Noel O'Donoghue. Together, they built a thriving venture that was a testament to their hard work and dedication. Her entrepreneurial spirit and determination were truly commendable, and she was respected in the business community for her expertise and innovation. Beyond her professional achievements, Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband, Noel, and their four daughters, Susan (Gavin) McGinney of Singapore, Andi (Rob) Shepard of Houston, Texas, Nollaig O'Donoghue, and Niamh O'Donoghue, both of Visalia, California, her father, Manuel Alvarez and wife Diana of Lindcove. Her five grandchildren were her pride and joy; she cherished every moment spent with them. Music was Patricia's passion, and she had an exceptional talent for making and playing it. She loved singing and playing the Irish tin whistle with her band, Tipperary Stew. She found joy in all art forms and appreciated their beauty in every aspect of life. Patricia's warm and generous nature extended beyond her immediate family, and she had a special bond with her siblings: Terri Reese, Debbie Victoria, Michael Alvarez, Teri Percy, and Michelle Gonzalez. She touched the lives of many with her kindness, compassion, and genuine love for people. A memorial service to celebrate Patricia's life will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, May 6th, 2023, at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, located at 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her, and she will be deeply missed. Patricia will be remembered for her indomitable spirit, love for music and art, and unwavering devotion to her family.
