Ovidio Salinas Jr, 57 of Visalia, CA, left this earth to meet his savior on Tuesday, January 11th, 2022. Born in Tulare, raised in Visalia, known by many as "JR" or "June Bug". He is survived by his parents Ovidio and Guillermina, his three sons: Matthew, Mark, and Jacob and his 6 siblings Omar, Maria, Maribel, Gini, Senaida and Mero along with numerous nieces and nephews. Loving Son, Father, Brother, Uncle, and Friend. Jr was well known for his outgoing personality and contagious smile. He was the life of the party anywhere he went! There are no words to describe his love for his children and family. He was always ready to help anyone in need and would give the shirt off his back. Jr enjoyed doing so many things with his family and friends. Jr loved having breakfast with his parents on Saturday mornings at Denny's, eating at Dog House Grill and having seafood in Pismo. Other things he enjoyed were Deep Sea fishing, boating, camping, off-roading at Glamis, BBQ'ing and making his famous salsa for his family. Living for spontaneous adventures whether it be waking up one morning and going to the coast for the day to go ridding on his quad, camping or heading out to the lake on his boat. Going solo didn't bother him or going with family and friends because he always lived his life to the fullest. Jr was and will forever be a die-hard Raider fan and his passion for his team was deep. Win or lose he wore his jersey proud and never missed any games. Once the season started, he was the first one to buy tickets making sure he supported his raiders from Oakland to Las Vegas. Jr will be missed dearly by everyone, the memories he made with anyone that crossed his path left a lasting impression. His outgoing personality and contagious humor and smile will be missed dearly. He may be gone but he will never be forgotten. Viewing will be held 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM Monday, January 17th, 2022 at Salser & Dillard Creighton Chapel, 1588 Lincoln Street, Kingsburg, with a Celebration of Life to follow 1pm at the Visalia Memorial Building, 609 W.
