Noemi Ramirez Soria

NOEMI RAMIREZ SORIA December 30, 1932 - March 22, 2023 In the early spring morning of March 22, 2023, our dear Ama, Grandma/'Buelita, Tia, sister and friend went home to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In her true nature, she went peacefully and quietly in her sleep just as she wanted and prayed for. It brings us true joy knowing that she woke up in the presence of Jesus Christ and was greeted by our dad, her sons and grandchildren. Noemi was born in Monterey, Mexico then soon after brought to Pharr, Texas where she and her seven brothers were raised and where she met our dad, the love of her life, Jose R. Soria Jr.. There they started their family of 5 boys and 2 girls. They moved to Tulare in 1963 where the family continues to grow. Together they had 7 children. To date, there are 22 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. They were married for 65 years before our dad passed away in December of 2013. When visiting our Ama, she always asked, "Ya comiste?"/"Have you eaten?" Even if you said yes, she would get busy cooking something simple, yet delicious and full of love, and yes, with freshly made flour tortillas. She loved her family and she had many close friends that were so dear to her. One of her greatest joys was traveling with our dad. Be it Illinois or Texas, she would always return to her beloved brothers, the Ramirez and Gallegos family where she enjoyed singing, dancing and laughing with them and our dad. You could always be assured that if she was not home, she and our dad were "dando la vuelta"--on a little drive. She was preceded in death by our dad, Jose R Soria Jr., her sons Danny R Soria and Ricky R Soria, her grandson David Soria Jr, granddaughter Deirdra Soria Riordon and great granddaughter Kierra Hardy. She is survived by her sons David R Soria, Ephraim R Soria and Kathleen, Eloy R Soria and Vira; her daughters Sylvia R Soria, Sara R Soria and Mighty as well as many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Our entire family rejoices knowing we will see her again in heaven one day! We would like to thank Westgate Gardens, Casa Grande Senior Care and her care providers Martha Barragan, Hilda Gomez and Beatriz Castillo for the wonderful care they provided our beloved Ama. Noemi's Celebration of Life will be held at 10am, Friday April 7, 2023 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E Caldwell Ave, Visalia followed by a graveside gathering at the Visalia Cemetery, 1300 W Goshen Ave. Our family gratefully invites you to join us for lunch at the PPAV Hall, 820 E Main Street, Visalia.
