Martin Raymond Crum

Martin Raymond Crum, 29 of Visalia went to be with the Lord on March 21, 2025 in Visalia. Martin was born to Martin & Jeanette Crum on Oct 31, 1995 in Visalia, and remained in Visalia until his passing. Martin attended Elbow Creek elementary school, Golden West High school, attended Fresno State graduating with a BS in Criminology. Martin was just weeks of obtaining his Masters in Criminology. Martin began substitute teaching about two years ago, at local schools, kindergarten through high school students. In August of 2024 Martin was hired by Tulare County schools teaching full time at Goshen Elementary School, teaching sixth grade. Martin enjoyed: Teaching sixth grade, time with family gatherings, Wake surfing, Snow Boarding, Mountain biking, Motorized dirt bike riding (in the Sierras and desert), Attending and watching Supercross (outdoor dirt bike racing), Golf, Camping (Bass lake, Courtright Lake) Hiking (Saw Tooth, Half Dome),Target shooting, Working out at the gym. Martin is survived by his Mom and Dad Jeanette and Martin, six siblings: Grant Crum of Ohio, Paige Harris of Visalia, Matthew Crum of San Luis, Laura Dotters of Visalia, Justin Crum of Visalia, Westley Crum of Visalia, a sister in law, Natalee Crum, two brothers in laws, Chandler Harris and Brian Dotters in addition four nieces, and two nephews. Martin was born again during his college time, he was quiet and reserved and always there if you needed him. We are all separated from him now, but in time we will meet Martin again in Heaven. Job 1:21 The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away, blessed be the name of the Lord. Job despite experiencing immense loss, Job choose to praise The Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Visitation will be held 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM Thursday, April 10th, 2025 at Grace Community Church, 2525 S. Lovers Lane, Visalia. Graveside services will be held 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM Friday, April 11th, 2025 at Visalia District Cemetery, 1300 W Goshen Ave, Visalia. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM Friday, April 11th, 2025 at Grace Community Church. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
