Marianne Theresa Buckley

Marianne Buckley, of Visalia, California, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020 at the age of 76. Marianne is survived by her 3 sons, Dennis Buckley; Bill Buckley and Steve Buckley. Marianne also leaves two sisters Vanessa Fujimoto and Cindy Noel, and one grandson, Brandon Buckley. Her husband, Dennis Buckley Sr. Her sister Lorrie Martin of Sparks, Nevada, precedes her in death. Marianne was born on April 4, of 1944 in San Francisco, California. She and her husband Dennis Buckley Sr. moved to Visalia from Southern California with their three boys in 1981. Marianne then began a career at Valley Warehouse where she made many friends over the years. Marianne was a hard worker throughout her life. Marianne ensured that her generous heart helped not only family, but also friends that may be in need without hesitation. Marianne loved her family's yearly trips to Tahoe; she also went to Hawaii and was able to take her dream trip with her sons to Alaska. Marianne was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Over the years she began to have a passion for basketball and was one of the biggest Miami HEAT fans you'd ever meet, never missing a game. When she wasn't watching the games she was taking care of her dogs Jack and Jill that she adored and spoiled. Even when she didn't feel well, her dogs gave her the motivation to get up and outside with them. She loved playing solitaire on her phone and her favorite times of the day were when she made her phone calls to her best friend Linda Kline. Linda could always put a smile on her face; she loved her like a sister. Her family and friends will miss her terribly Marianne made her last wishes known, and she asked that the family not have any services for her and we will honor her wishes. The family would like to thank Kaweah Delta Hospice and the wonderful nurses that came to the home and helped us to make Marianne's journey home just a little bit easier.
