NAME: Manuela Ramos AGE: 84 RESIDENT OF: Visalia DATE OF DEATH: 10-4-2015 OCCUPATION: Farm laborer PLACE OF DEATH: Visalia God called our Mother Manuela (Vicky) Ramos home on the morning of October 4, 2015 at the age of 84. Vicky was born in Fort Stockton, TX on June 4, 1931 to her parents Juan Aguinaga and Juana Hernandez. She moved to California in 1947 at the age of 16. Vicky’s favorite past times were traveling numerous states to visit family, listening to music (especially Ramon Ayala), dancing, spending time with family and friends and cooking for anyone who came to visit. She also catered for numerous weddings. No one ever left her home hungry. The holidays were one of the most precious times spending them with family. Vicky is preceded in death by her parents, siblings and 5 sons: Andy Montoya, Filomeno, Phillip, Henry and Danny Carrasco. She leaves to cherish her memory to her siblings Domingo, Maria and Margarita all of Visalia and her Children Susie Carrasco of Clovis, Mary (Tino) Serrato, Julian Montoya, John Carrasco, Arthur Ramos, Robert (Mary) Gonzales, and Gilbert (Mistie) Gonzales all of Visalia. She also leaves behind 56 Grandchildren, 168 Great-Grandchildren, and 19 Great-Great Grandchildren with numerous Godchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends. It breaks our hearts to let you go, but you will always be loved and remembered, but you didn’t go alone, part our hearts went with you. Visitation will be held at 4 PM till 6 PM on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Salser and Dillard Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be prayed at 6 PM on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Salser and Dillard Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, October 9, 2015 at Salser and Dillard Funeral Chapel in Visalia. Interment will be at Visalia District Cemetery. SURVIVED BY; PRECEDED IN DEATH BY; VISITATION WILL BEGIN at 4 PM till 6 PM on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Salser and Dillard Funeral Chapel.
