Manuel Espinola

With hearts full of gratitude and sorrow, we announce the passing of Manuel Espinola who met his most beautiful Lord with his wife, Theresa, unwaveringly at his side at the age of 88. Manuel lived a life of service to his faith, family, and community. Manuel was a man of values lived, not spoken - he volunteered and gave to countless charities, coached little league for nearly 10 years after his sons "retired", and helped young entrepreneurs hone their skills. Manuel was extremely gifted with numbers; in 1965 Manuel met his mentor Manuel Mancebo, Sr. who recognized his natural talent and offered him an accounting role at Kings County Truck Lines (KCTL). Eventually, Manuel became KCTL's CFO where he served for over 40 years, helping to transform a small local business into a regional enterprise. In retirement, you could find Manuel playing golf and pinocle, obsessed with his Rams, and going for walks in Avila Beach with his bride at his side. Manuel will be missed by his adoring wife of 63 years, Theresa, who was the love of his life, and their four children, Mark Espinola (wife Jill), Eric Espinola (wife Susie), Kevin Espinola (wife Jill) and Andrea Espinola Wilson (husband Cory), ten grandchildren; Josh, Ryan, Alec, Zach and Cole Espinola (Mark), Kyle and Jacob Espinola (Eric), Tessa Espinola (Kevin), and Luke and Brock Wilson (Andrea), five great grandchildren, Wesley, Wyatt and Ronin Espinola (Ryan) and Sora and Tahlia Espinola (Kyle), Manuel's sister Jeanne Kim (husband Mark), and countless cousins, nephews and nieces too many to list, but not to be forgotten. Manuel is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Mary Espinola, sister Velma and brother John. A viewing will be held at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave, Visalia on June 30, 2026 from 4 PM to 6 PM, followed by a rosary in Manuel's honor. A funeral mass celebrating Manuel's life and legacy will be held at St. Aloysius Catholic Church at 125 E. Pleasant Ave in Tulare on July 1, 2026 at 10:30 AM. The family extends its gratitude to Manuel's care team at Dedicated Care and Bristol Hospice whose compassion, professionalism and empathy were tremendously appreciated. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation so that others may someday not suffer the cruelty of Parkinson's.
