Manuel Aguilar Bursiaga, Sr.

Manuel A. Bursiaga 05/04/52 - 11/22/23 Manuel Bursiaga peacefully passed away surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, in his home at the age of 71. Born on May 4, 1952, in Carlsbad, New Mexico, to Agustin Bursiaga and Margarita Aguilar, Manuel later moved with his family to Tulare County, making East Orosi his early home. His life took a significant turn when he met Della Rivas of Woodlake through mutual friends. Manuel's witty personality proved irresistible to Della, and they were married on March 20, 1971. The couple started their lives in Woodlake, CA, welcoming their first son, Manuel Augustine, and nearly five years later, their second son, Daniel Ernest. For over 25 years, Manuel dedicated his skills to Randel Sprayers in Woodlake, painting agricultural equipment. This expertise led him to pursue a side hobby of painting cars and trucks. Following his tenure at Randel's, Manuel spent an additional 12 years at Waterman Industries. There, he coined the motto, 'where else can you go to have fun and get paid for it.' Transitioning into a new chapter after his retirement, Manuel wholeheartedly embraced his role as a full-time grandpa, building strong relationships and creating everlasting memories with his seven grandchildren. Manuel lived a fulfilling life centered around family, golf, craftsmanship, and good food. His unique sense of humor, unwavering dedication to his family, and remarkable versatility set him apart from the rest. He leaves behind a legacy of invaluable life lessons, cherished stories, and a treasure trove of camera archives capturing his proudest moments. Through these mementos shall we remember the light he brought into our lives and carry it forward in our own journeys. As we say our goodbyes, we celebrate a life well-lived and the everlasting imprint he leaves on our hearts. Manuel is survived by his wife of 53 years, Della, his son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Christina, his grandchildren, Jessica, Alliey, Kayla, Sasha, Caprice, Daniel, and Nikko, as well as his great-grandson, Manuel Sanchez. Manuel is also survived by his 10 brothers and sisters: Lorenzo, Robert, Johnny, Mary, Helen, Yolanda, Toni, Cathy, Lauralyn, and Valerie. He is preceded in death by his son, Manuel Jr., his parents, Agustin and Margarita, and his sister, Jenny. Viewing will be held 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM Sunday, December 10th, 2023 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia. Rosary will be held 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial services will be held 10:00 AM Monday, December 11th, 2023 at St. Frances Cabrini, 199 N Pepper St, Woodlake. Graveside services will be held 11:30 AM Monday, December 11th, 2023 at Woodlake Public Cemetery, 165 N Cypress St, Woodlake. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
