Lynn Aquitania Minyard

Lynn Aquitania Minyard, 53 of Clovis, California, peacefully passed on July 12, 2021. Lynn was born to Frank Valdez Aquitania and Leticia Manuel on June 17, 1968, in Bataan, Philippines. Lynn grew up in Bataan, Philippines and graduated from St. John Academy in 1984. She received her bachelor's degree in 1990 and her master's degree in Social Work in 1993 from Fresno State University. She worked as an LCSW for over 24 years. Before owning her private practice, Lynn worked as a Medical Social Worker at Kaweah Health Medical Group and as an adolescent psychotherapist at Tulare Youth Services Bureau. Lynn was a strong and independent woman that always put her friends' and family's needs before her own. Lynn was a proud Filipina and volunteered her time at the Filipino American Association of Tulare County. Her kind and generous heart guided her through her philanthropic works both locally and internationally. Lynn enjoyed traveling, trying new foods, cooking, dancing, singing, and shopping. She collected nativity sets, magnets, and elephant figurines from every location she visited. Lynn was a mother, sister, daughter, cousin, friend, and mentor. She was a confidant and inspiration for all who knew her. Her contagious laugh and beautiful smile filled every room she entered. She was described as the glue that held the entire family together. Lynn was an animated and passionate storyteller. Every moment spent with her is a cherished memory. After her long and hard battle with cancer, Lynn was a proud supporter and advocate for METAvivor. Donations can be made in her honor at www.metavivor.org She is survived by her children, Raquel Aquitania Minyard and Joshua Aquitania Minyard; her father, Frank Aquitania; four siblings, Fred Aquitania, Leila Aquitania Danner, Francis Aquitania, and Lalaine Aquitania Tolentino; and her 7 Nieces and Nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Leticia Manuel Aquitania. Lynn left a void in the hearts of many and will truly be missed by all. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated privately.
