Lorraine Torres Ryan

Lorraine Torres Ryan, 67, of Visalia, California, peacefully entered into eternal rest on April 28, 2026, at her home surrounded by the love of her family. Lorraine was born on February 27, 1959, in Tulare, California. Lorraine was a loving wife, devoted mother, proud grandmother, sister, and faithful servant of God. Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to caring for others. She worked as a Head Start teacher and later in senior healthcare, where her compassion and caring heart touched many lives. She found joy in the simple things in life - gardening, going to bingo, swimming, cheering on her beloved San Francisco 49ers, and most importantly, supporting her granddaughters at their sporting events. Lorraine also had a deep love for animals and especially adored her cats. Lorraine was a born-again Christian who accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. Her faith was the foundation of her life. She attended church regularly, but more importantly, she had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that guided her through every season of life. Even during difficult times, Lorraine remained strong in her faith and continued to encourage those around her. Her greatest joy and proudest title in life was being a mother and grandmother. She loved her family deeply and unconditionally. Lorraine had a kind heart and would help anyone in need. She had an unforgettable laugh, a positive outlook on life, and a way of making everyone feel important and loved. She always put others before herself, and that selfless love will forever be remembered by all who knew her. Lorraine also took great pride in raising two sons who served their country honorably: Armando "Mando" Perez, who served in the United States Army, and Jesse Perez, who served in the United States Marine Corps. Lorraine is survived by her loving husband, Frank Ryan; her children, Armando Perez and Jesse Perez; and her cherished grandchildren, Justine, Josie, Jessa, and Jaice Perez. She is also survived by her siblings, extended family, and many friends whose lives she impacted throughout the years. Though her family's hearts are broken, they find peace knowing Lorraine is no longer suffering and is now in the presence of the Lord she faithfully loved and served. Her love, strength, laughter, and faith will continue to live on through her family and everyone blessed enough to know her. Memorial services will be held 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Sunday, May 17th, 2026 at Salser & Dillard Life Event Center, 135 E Caldwell Ave, Visalia. Reception services will follow from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM Sunday, May 17th, 2026 at Salser & Dillard Life Event Center. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
