Loreta M Anin

Loreta Martinez Anin, (Lorie) passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on January 3, 2023 at the age of 75 years. Lorie was born, raised and educated in the Philippines. With the help of her oldest brother, Dadong Martinez and her father, Estanislao Martinez, Lorie together with her husband and two children immigrated to California USA in 1987. She graduated from De Ocampo Memorial College, Philippines with a bachelor's degree in Medical Technology in 1983. Until 2021, Lorie had been continuously working as a licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist for Sierra View Medical Center in Porterville California for at least 30 years. With such devotion, generosity and kindness, Lorie will truly be missed by her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling the world with her husband, Renato, caring for her grandchildren and gifting her casino winnings to her family and friends. Lorie will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 56 years, Renato Anin; her daughter and son-in-law, Lourdes (Marilou) and Todd Mertens; her son and daughter-in-law, Marlon and Evelyn (Joy) Anin; her grandchildren, Michelle Mertens and Michael Mertens. Lorie will also be fondly remembered by her siblings, Dadong Martinez, Tita Rodriquez, Nena Blaza, Cres Pascua and Estanislao Martinez Jr. Lorie was predeceased by her parents, Estanislao and Filomena Martinez; and her sister, Susing Aquino. Not only as a wife, not only as a mother, for all of us, you did your best. Now it's time for you to rest, So go in peace, you deserve your sleep. We will keep your love in our hearts forever. Viewing will be held 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM Monday, January 16th, 2023 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia. Rosary will follow from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial services will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday, January 17th, 2023 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 608 N. Church Street, Visalia. Graveside services will be held 12:00 PM Tuesday, January 17th, 2023 at Visalia District Cemetery, 1300 W Goshen Ave, Visalia. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
