Lindon Quicksall

On the evening of February 9, 2016, Linn passed away in his house in Visalia, CA from heart failure. He was 48 years old. Lindon Quicksall was born in the city of San Diego, CA on December 5, 1967. He was the only child of William Luke Quicksall and Billie Jean Quicksall. Linn was a good natured man. Everyone who met him liked him . His creative and relaxed nature made people laugh and feel comfortable. He would always come up with some way to cause a hysterical outburst. He was not shy and always ready to tell it like it is. He would get so excited like a child when something new came along. His gentle mannerisms will be missed. He had his fair share of things he loved in life. He did love attention and loved to tell stories. Those closest to him knew where the stories started and where they would probably end up. It made him happy. He called himself “A Redneck With A Paint Job”. And that he was. Redneck with his trucks and his memorabilia. His fish and deer antler displayed all over the house or hanging from the ceiling fans. He really was all about his trucks and his sunglasses. Must be the best. He really loved food. Linn loved to do everything large. Eat and cook. He was the best. His appetite fit his personality. When he was given a really super grill one day he was so excited like a child at Christmas. He just couldn’t contain himself and fixed his family breakfast on the grill! If it could fit on a grill then he would grill it. In the freezing, wet, intense heat of weather……he grilled. Lightning or hail. And crawfish never had a chance either. This was the time for the boils and time to share with family and friends. He was good like that. Linn had his own way of doing so many things. While aggravating he was also so fun to be around. Just one example of his “wake up call” in the morning was his Steam Roller. All 200 lbs of him rolling over the top of you while in bed. This was not popular with the family but oh well. All was good. Otherwise you would awake to the blast of his music on the computer. He called that his “Geek Time”. He loved the fur babies. The dogs Hoochie and Rufus. And they were crazy about him. He had a way with animals. While he enjoyed hunting, fishing and 4 wheeling he wasn’t really good at it but he loved it and did it anyway. Linn enjoyed card games, board games, darts and playing pool. Time was well spent with his family. Linn was a hardworking man. He was one who would cut up on the job and yet still maintained professionalism. He enjoyed tattoos…..receiving and giving. He was a very good tattoo artist and did so from home part time. He learned quickly and was a natural in anything he did. If you could make money doing it then he could do it. A person always on time for work and didn’t miss a day. While he worked in the food industry managing several departments in the grocery stores, what he really liked was working for the City of Biloxi. His job there was Public Works were he took pride and was a positive model. Lindon was also a member of the Elks in Biloxi and gave more than his fair share of time to his lodge brothers. Linn was preceded in death by: Billie Jean Keller, his mother. Linn was survived by: Randi Diaz, his daughter of Visalia, CA and Skot Quicksall, his son of Merritt Island, FL; Sherry Sweat, Benton, AR, Pennie Triebel, Cincinnati, OH, Jerry Demoss, Joplin MO and Ted Demoss, Houma, LA.; Bently 5 yrs, Jasper 1 1/2 yrs and Charlotte Quicksall 6 mo, Jonah Diaz 1 1/2 yrs and baby boy Diaz due in June '16. He had several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held: Saturday February 20th at 3:30 pm
