Linda Carol Everett 11/03/1957 ~ 03/03/2026 Linda Carol Everett was born to Iona and Thomas Jones on November 3rd, 1957, in Tulare, CA, and passed away on March 3rd, 2026, surrounded by loved ones in Lemoore, CA. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her sister Jerrie, and her brother Jack. Linda grew up in the town of Tulare along with her 5 siblings, including her twin sister, Brenda. She graduated from Tulare Western High School in 1976. Linda loved sewing and made herself known as a seamstress for Lakes Decorating Center, making custom drapes. She also worked for The Uniform Shop, making uniforms and alterations for the police and the sheriff's departments. She moved to Arkansas, where her sister, Jerrie, lived. From 2010-2018, Linda worked for White Hall School District, subbing for teachers, helping in the kitchen, etc. Working with kids brought her joy. From all the hard work she put into being a seamstress, working with kids, and just having fun and being full of life. She would say that her most rewarding and fulfilling accomplishment would have been the day of November 1st, 1983, when she gave birth to her one and only child, Dennis. Linda left Arkansas in 2020 to live with her twin sister and brother-in-law in Idaho for about 7 months. In 2021, she moved back to Tulare until she met Dennis McClusky. It didn't take long for them to hit it off, and the next thing Dennis knew was that Linda had a closet full of her clothes at his house in Lemoore. Linda loved life and loved traveling, so it just made sense that she would ride along when Dennis went out on long hauls. They enjoyed each other's company, driving together, and would even pull over at times so Linda could yell "here kitty, kitty" to the cows and bulls! When Dennis retired, it gave Linda and him more time to go to Pismo Beach and enjoy each other. Linda loved her family and her Dennis! She also had a big heart for cats and had many through the years. But one day a husky needed a home, so Linda and Dennis became the owners of a girl dog named Chloe. Linda was very hesitant to have a big dog, but it didn't take long for her to fall in love with the big goofball that Chloe is. Linda will be forever remembered by her fiance of 5 years, Dennis McClusky; son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Sara Everett; grandchildren, Macy, Tegan, and Logan; her sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Mike Barrier; brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Bobbi Jones; sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Tim Dorias; as well as numerous relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held on March 20th at 11am at Sierra Baptist Church, 1437 E Walnut Ave, Visalia, CA 93292. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
