Linda Dian Coito

It is with heavy hearts that the Family of Linda Coito, age 82, of Tulare passed away peacefully on October 20th. She was a devoted and Loving wife to Lee Coito for 62 wonderful years. Linda was committed to her faith as a cherished member of her family, her community and the St. Aloysius Parish. Linda was born in Artesia Ca August 14th, 1942, to Virginia and Andy Fien. Linda and Lee met in high school and became high school sweethearts, marrying shortly after graduating from Cerritos College. Throughout her life, Linda embraced her role as the ultimate farmer's wife, dedicating herself to supporting her husband and nurturing their four daughters-Andrea, Melissa, Tracy, and Rachel. Her love for her family was boundless. Linda was a loving Wife, Daughter, Sister, Mother, Aunt, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her husband, Lee; daughters Andrea (Al) Moore, Melissa (Derrick) Coito, Tracy (Andy) Rusnak, and Rachel (Bobby) Vasquez. Her 11 Grandchildren and 10 Great-grandchildren. Linda found joy in each of their lives and treasured her role as a grandmother, especially in her bond with her grandson Andrew who preceded her in death. A master of cake decorating for 54 years, Linda shared her passion through teaching classes at the local adult school, inspiring many with her creativity. Her beautiful wedding cakes became a beloved tradition for hundreds of brides, each a reflection of her artistry and dedication. Linda was an accomplished seamstress showcasing her skill in the beautiful clothes she sewed for her daughters. Linda was also an Orange Jacket Farm Show Volunteer for 34 years proudly serving alongside Lee. Linda's warmth, kindness, and culinary talent touched the lives of many. She will be deeply missed by all who know her. The Family would like to give a heart felt thank you to her wonderful care givers Lisa, Tommy, Gloria, and all from Amdal and Gentiva Care. A Viewing will be held on Tuesday November 5th, 5pm at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 East Caldwell Ave, Visalia, Rosary immediately following at 6pm. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday November 6th at 10:30am at St. Aloysius Church, 125 E Pleasant Ave, Tulare following graveside at the Tulare Cemetery 900 E Kern Ave. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
