Lillian Osorio Sandoval

Lillian Osorio Sandoval January 30, 1932 - May 23, 2024 Lillian O. Sandoval passed away on May 23, 2024. She was 92 years old. Lillian was born on January 30, 1932 in Waukena, California to Fernando and Aurelia Osorio. She was the 4th eldest of 10 children. Lillian attended Delta View Elementary School and graduated from Visalia High School in 1950. She worked at various companies such as American Yearbook, Goodman Manufacturing, and Sprig Electric. Lillian's favorite job was testing transformers at Sprig Electric because she found it interesting and challenging. Before she retired, Lillian worked as a cashier at Shepherd's Market on the north side of Visalia where she enjoyed interacting with the regular customers. Lillian will be remembered for her quiet strength and commitment to her family. She was a modest person and a loving mom. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and reading. She also loved to visit relatives, share wonderful stories, and have a good time just being with family and friends. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, Fernando and Aurelia Osorio, her siblings Alex, Mamie, Vera, Cecilia, Fernando Jr, and Sam. She is survived by her son Michael (Maile), her stepchildren, Alma Lupe, Danny (Gale), David, and her granddaughter Leilani. She is also survived by her siblings Blanche, Desi, and Gilbert, as well as many nieces and nephews. Lillian's family is extremely grateful to the staff at Visalia Post Acute for the attentive care they provided for Lillian in her final years. Her family would also like to extend a special note of gratitude to Rosie Sandoval for going above and beyond as Lillian's caregiver prior to her stay at VPA. With Rosie's help, Lillian was able to have years of independence living in her own home. Visitation will take place at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel in Visalia on Sunday, June 2, 2024 from 4:00PM - 7:00PM. Rosary from 6:00PM - 7:00PM. Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024 at 10:00AM at Visalia District Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
