OCCUPATION: Registered Nurse PLACE OF DEATH: Visalia Leticia “Lety” Robles Armstrong passed away at her home in Visalia on September 5, 2015 at the age of 54 after a long battle with Systemic Sclerodrema. Lety was born in San Antonio, Texas on November 23, 1960 to Gilberto and Graciela Robles. Lety was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend, and nurse and many will miss her dearly. After graduating from Delano High School, Lety had a long career as a Registered Nurse, specializing in Emergency and Trauma Medicine, traveling the country, working at various medical institutions. She was preceded in death by her father Gilberto Robles, brother Rodolfo Robles, sister Gloria Robles and father in-law Edgar Armstrong. Lety is survived by her loving husband, David and son DJ. Lety is also survived by her mother, Graciela, two sisters Isabel (Cruz) Armendariz and Sonia (Bill) Ritchey, three brothers, Javier (Theresa) Robles, Ricardo (Jean) Robles and Gilberto Robles, Jr, and mother in-law, Vera Armstrong. As well as numerous nieces and nephews. Many thanks to the healthcare providers who have cared for Lety over the years. In particular, Dr. Raman Verma, Dr. Dan Watrous, Dr. Phil Clements and Dr. Sashi Sharma. In addition, to Maria, Bernadette, and Lourdes who have been Lety’s caretakers over the last few months. Lety’s most favorite doctor, was Dr. Pepper. A big thank you to Kaweah Delta Hospice during this difficult time. Thank you to the many friends and neighbors who have offered their support, friendship, thoughts, prayers and delicious meals. You made it so much easier for us. As Lety said, “I am thankful for everyone that I was fortunate to know in my lifetime, oh what a wonderful life”.
