Kenneth L Albert

Kenneth L. Albert passed away peacefully, just 16 days before his 102nd birthday, following a long and remarkable life marked by service, hard work, devotion to family, with a spirit of curiosity and independence. Born and raised in the blue-collar town of Millinocket, Maine, Kenneth became an outstanding high school basketball player and worked at the local paper mill. He answered the call to serve his country as a member of the United States Army during World War II. His military service was a source of great pride and reflected the values of duty, perseverance, and dedication that guided him throughout his life. Following his military service, Kenneth moved to California, where he built a successful career in the laundry and dry-cleaning profession, eventually becoming a respected business owner. Through determination, integrity, and a strong work ethic, he created opportunities not only for himself but also for those around him. Kenneth was married to his beloved wife, Frances Albert, for 60 years. Together, they shared a life filled with love, partnership, and family. Frances passed away on March 20, 2008. They raised three sons, Jeff, Kail, and Brad. Kenneth also took great joy in his four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, and they fondly remember him drawing his favorite character, Bugs Bunny, for them. Outside of work, Kenneth embraced life fully. He enjoyed traveling and exploring new places, spending time on the golf course, boating on Lake Mead, painting, playing chess, and relaxing while watching classic Western movies. He was known for his sharp mind, quiet strength, and enduring sense of independence. Perhaps most remarkable was Kenneth's vitality and self-reliance. He remained fully independent and active for nearly 102 years, inspiring all who knew him with his resilience, optimism, and appreciation for life. Kenneth's legacy lives on through his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched through his kindness, wisdom, and example. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. Memorial Mass services will be held 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Saturday, September 19th, 2026 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 608 N. Church Street, Visalia.
