Kay Leone Adams

Kay Adams was born Kay Leone Fenne on July 30, 1931 in Zumbrota, Minnesota to George and Fern Fenne. Her family later migrated to southern California where she met and married Donald Adams. Together they had four daughters, Donna, Debra, Denece and Denene. Denene passed away soon after birth. So the three girls soon became known as the three D's. Don and Kay enjoyed traveling in their various RV's over the years visiting family across the country. After Don passed Kay decided to move in with Debbie and Allan. Several years later she came to live with Jim and Denece. Family get togethers were a favorite for Kay. A hot game of Dominoes was usually played with Kay at the table. She looked forward to weekly lunches with Debbie and Denece, and sometimes friends joined the party. Her favorite places to eat were Chili's and Alejandra's. Kay is mourned by her family. Daughters Donna Lee, Debbie (Allan) Tharp, & Denece (Jim) Roberts. Grandchildren Clint Pilkenton, Andrea (Harold) Crumley, Sonja Mendibles, Reina Torres, Denene Lopez, Robert and (Eve) Tharp, Kristopher and (Janet) Tharp, Vince and (Jennifer) Tharp, Don and (Deborah) Tharp. Great grandchildren Michael Fleming, Mia Granado, Jaydan Crumley, Isabella Mendibles, Savanna Mendibles, Desiree Torres, Adrian Torres, Frank Lopez, Adam Lopez, Jacob Tharp, Katelyn Tharp, Tristan Tharp, Everett Tharp, Samantha Tharp. Great Great grandchildren Elizabeth, Levi and Hunter Tharp, Ethan Huerta. And many nieces and nephews across the US and England. Kay was preceded in death by her parents George and Fern Fenne, her husband Don of 61 years and her brother George Fenne and her sister Janet Hayes. Kay was a wonderful woman, full of life and love! She is missed tremendously. Viewing will be held 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM Monday, November 6th, 2023 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 7th, 2023 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will be held 12:00 PM Tuesday, November 7th, 2023 at Visalia District Cemetery, 1300 W Goshen Ave, Visalia. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
