Jose Belman Barajas

Jose Belman Barajas, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, left peacefully to be with God on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at the age of 79 in Visalia CA. Jose was born in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico on October 27, 1941, to father Jose Belman Perez and Maria Barajas Alvardo. He has ten siblings, Guadalupe, Consuelo, Angelina, Bertha, Beatriz, Juana, Carmela, Juvenal, Jesus, and Martin. Jose grew up in a small town where resources were limited but dedicated his whole life to help out his family. He married the love of his life Maria Concepcion on January 20, 1965 and together they had 10 wonderful children. In 1978, Jose migrated to the U.S where he worked throughout the San Joaquin Valley in agriculture up until his retirement. He lived his final years in Woodlake CA. He had a strong work ethic and always made sure his family was taken care of. He was a very compassionate person, who enjoyed having conversations and laughing with many. He is very loved by his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren for being a wonderful man and role-model. Jose will truly be missed by all his family and friends. Jose was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Guadalupe and brother Jesus and granddaughter Selena. He is survived by his wife Maria Concepcion; children Benjamin, Martha, Francisco, Silvia, Jose, Javier, Ramiro, Guadalupe, Ana and Ruby; grandchildren Daisy, Almira, Alexis, Martha, Juan, Henry, Neida, Azucena, Jose, Sulema, Bryan, Jennifer, Angeline, Omar, Oscar, Melanie and Ariana; and great-grandchildren Mateo, Amory and Benjamin. A Visitation for Jose is planned for Friday, October 29, 2021, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. A Rosary will be held at 1:00 PM. The Visitation and Rosary will be at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel located at 127 E Caldwell Ave, Visalia, CA 93277. All wishing to pay their respects and share this time with the family are welcomed to attend. At the request of Jose, he will be laid to rest in his hometown in Guanajuato Mexico.
