John Manual Trujillo

John M. Trujillo, (Disco John) age 73, of Tulare, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of November 5, 2025. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, son and friend, John's kindness, humor, and enormous heart left a lasting mark enriching the lives of all who knew him. John's life was rooted in family. He poured his heart into creating a home filled with love, humor, and togetherness, and he never missed a chance to remind his loved ones how much they meant to him. His gentle spirit and devotion extended far beyond his immediate family, he loved his nieces and nephews as if they were his own children. John was a natural jokester, he loved making people laugh and could brighten any room with his quick wit and playful spirit. Bringing joy to others was simply who he was. His love shaped every part of his life, and those who loved him will forever carry the warmth he gave so freely. Because of his love for people, John found great happiness in his work, 32 years as a retired school custodian. Being around both teachers and students, joking with them, and watching their smiles grow always made his days meaningful. His coworkers still remember him with great memories of laughs and acts of kindness, a testament to the impact he had on them. Those small, everyday moments with students and coworkers were some of the ones he treasured most. Music was another one of John's greatest loves. As a DJ, he had an incredible gift for reading a room and lifting people's spirits with the perfect song. He cherished seeing people dance, laugh, and live fully in the moment and he was always happiest when he could be a part of creating those memories. At home, John was a man overflowing with love and gratitude. He was affectionate and comforting, always ready with a hug, a listening ear, or a joke to make them laugh after a hard day. He showed his wife unwavering love every day, and he gave his daughters a lifetime of comfort, affection, and the certainty that they were treasured John is survived by his loving wife, Stella Trujillo; his daughters, Andrea Frausto (Son-in-law Jospeh Perez)and Raquel Trujillo; and his grandchildren: Charles (DJ) Frausto (wife Gina), Natalie Frausto, Mariah Frausto, and Jonathan Frausto. He was also blessed with four great-grandchildren: Dereck, Xavier, Faith, and Kaleb Frausto. John is further survived by his brother Sal Trujillo (wife Juanita) and his sister Rita Gomez, along with many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Connie Trujillo, and his brothers Joe Jr. and Paul Trujillo. A celebration of life will be held on November 23, 2025, with a viewing from 12-1 p.m., followed by services at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia, led by Pastor Mark. The family warmly invites everyone to come as they are and to wear something that reflects joy, music, or a memory shared with John. John will be remembered for his laughter, his music, his generous heart, and the happiness he brought to everyone around him. His legacy of love and joy lives on in all who were blessed to know him.
