Jeffrey Robert Wilbur

Jeffrey Robert Wilbur, born October 17, 1965, departed this life on November 3, 2025, at the age of 60. His steady character was rooted in a deep faith and unwavering devotion to his wife and daughters, values that defined him as a husband, dad, papa, son, brother, uncle, friend, AGR brother, dairyman and leader. Guided by a profound spiritual strength, Jeff was a consistent source of unconditional love and encouragement to all who knew him. To have known Jeff was to experience joy in motion. Born and raised in Tulare, California, Jeff dedicated his life to the land, working as a dairyman and farmer. He often moved by the rhythm of the ranch, fostering a deep connection to the cattle and an even deeper connection to his ever-growing community. Jeff radiated an approachable presence. His legacy includes the countless relationships he forged across the valleys, meadows and mountains of life. He famously loved two categories of people: those he knew well and those he was just getting to know. He filled his days to the brim in ways that cast the joy of fellowship, including working alongside others, cooking and barbecuing, gathering around a fire, dancing, playing pickleball, attending auctions, skiing, traveling, and simply sharing life. Living with contagious enthusiasm, Jeff's spirit will continue to ripple through the countless lives he touched. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Lisa Wilbur; his three daughters, Elizabeth (Austin) Burmeister, Sarah Wilbur, and Grace (Brendan) Bentley; his grandson, Kase Burmeister; his parents, Bob and Carolyn Wilbur; and his sisters, Katie (Raymond) Van Beek and Kristin (Michael) Schussel, along with a sea of beloved extended family and friends. A vigil will be held on November 13, at 5:00 PM at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 125 E. Pleasant Ave., Tulare. A Memorial Mass will take place November 14, at 10:30 AM at St. Aloysius Church, followed by a reception at the Agri-Center, 4500 S. Laspina St., Tulare. All who knew and loved Jeff are invited to join the family to honor his life and memory. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
