Jeffrey Thomas Lewis

Jeff Thomas Lewis, 60, passed away on June 10th 2024 in Farmersville, CA. He was a pillar of strength and a beacon of love; his absence leaves a void in our hearts. He was born November 17th, 1963 in Steubenville, OH. He moved to California when he was nine years old. He obtained his GED in YA and had a long career in heavy equipment where he excelled for 43 years. He met the love of his life at 17 years old, where they later married and spent 40 wonderful years together. Although Jeff experienced many hardships in life, he always found a way to persevere and overcome anything that was thrown at him. He was passionate about his cars and took pride in showcasing his 1980 Cadillac coupe DeVille. He enjoyed attending car shows with his car club family, New Friends. He loved spending time with his wife and kids but being a papa brought him the most joy. He was preceded to heaven by his beloved mother-in-law Domitila, his best friend Johnny and his favorite dog Tyson. He is survived by his Wife Gracie; their children: Jeffrey partner Victoria, Jessica partner Mauricio, Jerika partner Armando, and Jaklyn; four grandchildren: Joe, Jeffrey III, Juliette and Mathias Judah; Grand pups: Chivo, Luci, Nova, Ryder, Rylie, Popeye, Migo, and Cali as well his fat cat Carol; Father-in-law Jesus; Brothers Chris and Kenny; Mom Virginia, as well as many sister and brother in laws, nieces and nephews. Jeff was deeply loved by many. His passing was peaceful and at home, just like he always hoped it would be. While we lost a husband and dad, many have lost a loved one and friend in him. He has been a rock to many and no matter what happened between you and him in your lives, once you were marked as important to him, he'd be by your side no matter what. It was his wish that when we reminisce on our memories of him that we smile and laugh about all the good times we shared. Visitation will be held at Salser and Dillard Funeral Chapel in Visalia on Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 4pm-7pm with rosary to be prayed at 6pm. To commemorate his remarkable life and the memories we cherish, a service will be held Friday, June 28th, at 8:30 am at Sacred Heart Church in Exeter, CA with a burial service to follow at the Exeter District Cemetery. We welcome all who knew him to join us in celebrating the life of a man who was loved deeply and will be missed. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
