Jaime Tadeo Rodriguez

Jaime Rodriguez passed away in his home on Sunday, May 4, 2025. He was 48 years old. Jaime was born on July 28th , 1976 in Tulare California to Jose Isabel Rodriguez and Raquel Tadeo. As a child, Jaime worked alongside his migrant parents, picking fruit throughout the central valley. Even though the job was difficult, Jaime demonstrated a strong work ethic and never gave up until the workday was over. In his teenage years, Jaime and his family settled in Ivanhoe. He attended Woodlake High School. It was there that Jaime developed a love for dancing, particularly Quebradita, a popular dance in that era. With his friends, they became known as Los Compitas always bringing a sense of camaraderie wherever they went. Jaime went on to marry and became a father to two sons, whom he affectionately called 'Mis Potrillos.' His love for his children was immeasurable and he often spoke with pride about his role as their dad. Jaime cherished the time he spent with his loved ones, whether it was his sons, parents, siblings, nephews & nieces, or friends. Jaime always aspired to become an entrepreneur. He worked at International Paper for some years, where he excelled and easily made his way up as an employee. He later started his own lawn service called Jaime and Sons Lawn Service. He also farmed oranges at his home in Ivanhoe. Jaime's strong work ethic was instilled in his sons, brothers and nephews, as they worked alongside him doing lawn service, landscaping, and maintaining his orchards. Jaime loved being outdoors, especially barbecuing, fishing, and going camping at Bass Lake. His favorite thing to do at Bass Lake was renting a boat for the day and grilling his famous habanero wings by the water. He passed these traditions onto his family, who will keep them going in his memory. Jaime is survived by his sons, Christian and Matthew; parents, Jose Isabel and Raquel; brothers and sisters, Marisela, Agustin, Ilda, Rocio, Renato and Gilberto. Jaime is now reunited with his brother Pablo, who passed away in July 2024. Even though Jaime is no longer here with us, he will continue to live in our hearts and memories. We find comfort in knowing that he is now in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ, where his spirit finds eternal peace. Visitation will be held 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM Thursday, May 29th, 2025 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia. Rosary will follow at 6:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial services will be held 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM Friday, May 30th, 2025 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 608 N. Church Street, Visalia. Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM Friday, May 30th, 2025 at Visalia District Cemetery, 1300 W Goshen Ave, Visalia. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
