Geraldine Williamson

Geraldine "Jeri" Williamson, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, friend, and woman of unwavering faith, passed away peacefully in Visalia, California, on September 4, 2026, at the age of 85. Jeri was born on March 7, 1941, in Visalia, California, to Frank and Mary Macedo. A lifelong resident of the community she loved, she spent her life making a difference in the lives of those around her. Jeri was married to the love of her life, Delbert Williamson, for 67 years. Together, they built a beautiful family and shared a lifetime filled with love, friendship, service, and adventure. She is survived by her husband, Delbert; her children, Steve (Shari) Williamson and Miaja (Kelly) Dynge; her grandchildren, Shannon (Kate) Dynge, Josh (Adrienne) Williamson, Derek (LeAnn) Williamson, Danielle (Kane) Summers, and Michelle Dynge; and her great-grandchildren, Rylee Dynge, Lilah Dynge, Peyton Javaux, William Dynge, Zaydie Summers, Davis Williamson, Piper Williamson, Keagen Dynge, and Leland Williamson. Throughout her life, Jeri worked in a variety of roles, including driving a mechanical tree shaker and sweeper during the walnut harvest, working at Paul Masson Winery, and working with Jostens Yearbook. She also worked for 23 years as an Administrative Assistant at Visalia First Assembly of God. Her years of service were much more than a job-they were an expression of her love for her church and the people in it. Jeri and Delbert were especially passionate about Royal Kids Camp, where they served for 13 years as grandparents to children in the foster system. They poured love, encouragement, and kindness into children who had experienced abuse and neglect, giving them a sense of belonging, joy, and family. But above all her accomplishments and years of service, Jeri will be remembered for the love she gave so freely. She was the sweetest woman to walk the earth. Her family was her greatest joy, and she loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren deeply. She cherished time with family and friends, loved to travel, and treasured the many memories they made together. Her family takes comfort in knowing that the love she gave so generously will live on through the many lives she touched and through the generations of her family who carry her love with them. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at Visalia First Assembly of God, followed by a reception at the church.
