Frank Vidana

God's gift of Life possibilities are endless... when one has endless hope and belief... in self and others. We all can attest that Frank Macias Vidana life was a true testament of that same endless hope and belief. Frank surpassed expectations through his amazing innovations, creativity and love. Frank's heart and generosity never stop blessing those near and afar, and if you look around, you can see glimmers of his hope and love all around you throughout each of the generations. Frank's smile, humor and love is and will always be a warm picture in our minds and on our hearts as a reminder that he is always near. Frank Macias Vidana was born on January 14, 1954 in Corcoran, CA. Frank was born from parents Antonio and Eufemia Vidana. Frank had 10 siblings and he is the 6th child. Frank siblings are Petra, Paul, Tony, Gilbert, Henry, Gloria, Ruben, Mary and David. The Vidana family worked the rigors of the relentless agricultural industry. At a very young age Frank worked with his family in the fields to help his parents provide for their large family. Frank attended College of Sequoias after high school graduation. Frank had a strong passion for photography and videography and was able to chronicle much of his life through it. Frank wanted to serve his country and help others so he signed up for Marine Corps in 1976. Frank spent 14 years in the Marines as a Gunny Sergeant where he was stationed in North Korea, South Carolina, Japan, Korea, Philippines Islands, Hawaii and El Toro. Frank's military journey came to end in 1991 when he decided to come home and create new possibilities for his family and himself. Frank decided to follow his passion of opening a Mexican Restaurant. Frank's idea of starting a restaurant was to have a family business where he could provide opportunity for his brothers and sisters and their families. Panchito's Burritos was opened in the peaceful and beautiful city of Huntington Beach, California with the help of his Father, brothers and sisters. Frank was able to operate his restaurant with the help of his eldest sister Petra, youngest brother David, and his many nieces and nephews from 1991 to 2003. Frank retired to Corcoran where he moved back into his family's home. Frank spent time redesign and renovating the Vidana family home to a modern and charming sanctuary for him and brother, David to rest their head. Frank begin his journey to find family around the globe to ensure all of our family were always connected. Frank would take several regular trips to El Faro, Mexico and visited his Aunt. Upon his Aunt passing she left him a large ranch with a variety of animals. Frank continued to take care of the ranch with the help his cousin Irma Aide, and he added cows, chickens, pigs, turkeys, pony's, dogs and horses. Frank also begin his missionary work with the local village people which called him Los Don (The Gift) Pancho. Frank donated time, clothes, food and many other gifts to the village people that lived a very impoverished life. Frank touched an endless number of lives and made people smile and laugh everywhere he went. Always remember that Frank purpose in life continues on today as those he has impacted continue to pass on his legacy through innovation, creativity, compassion and love for all.
