Filemon Hernandez Hernandez

Filemon Hernandez, 60, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on August 18, 1961 in San Jose de Garcia, Jalisco, Mexico to Augustin and Josephine Hernandez. He made his journey to Tulare County in 1979. There he worked in the agriculture industry where he picked crops and worked in packing houses. He left Sun Pacific Growers in 1989 to start FH Lawn Service. Over the years, he had many family members join him, working side by side learning from his example of hard work and completing the job right. His brother and nephews went on to start their own lawn companies after working with him. Filemon married Teresa Reyna on September 17, 1987 in Visalia, California. They lived in Lindsay for twenty-six years. He with Teresa, loved to take day trips to Morro Bay for seafood and avocados and traveling to Mexico to visit family. Filemon loved being outdoors, especially on his ranch with his animals, driving the tractor in the field and being with his many dogs. He loved being at home the most, especially walking into his mother-in-laws kitchen for dinner. Filemon is preceded in death by his father, Augustin and brother-in-law, Joe Reyna. He is survived by his wife, Teresa, his mother Josephine, of Jalisco, Mexico. Brothers: Miguel [Maricela], Manuel [Inez], all of Farmersville, Ca, Jose [Rosa], and Augustine [Conception] all of Jalisco, Mexico. Sisters: Josephine of Bakersfield, Ca, Teresa [Miguel] of Visalia, Ca, Alicia [Manuel], of Jalisco, Mexico. Father and Mother-in-Law, Regulo and Genevie Reyna of Lindsay, Ca. Brother-in-law, Ramon Reyna [Kelly] of Rancho Cucamonga, Ca. Sisters-in-laws: Irene R. Ramirez [Teodoro Del Rio] of Tulare and Jennifer Reyna of Roseburg, Or. Filemon was loved by all family members and all who knew Filemon are left with many fond memories of him. Visitation and Rosary will be held on Thursday, August 11th from 4-7 pm, the viewing begins at 4pm and the Rosary starts at 6 pm at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel. 127 E. Caldwell Ave. Visalia, CA 93277. Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 12th at 9am at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will follow the Church Service with a procession to the Exeter Cemetery 719 E Marinette Ave Exeter, CA 93221 Reception to follow the Graveside Services at the Sacred Heart Parish Hall, 417 N.
