Eric Wade Bennett

Eric Wade Bennett January 30, 1964 to April 24, 2023 ---His free-spirited nature and quick-witted intellect made him an easy friend--- It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved fun-loving son, brother, uncle and father, Eric Wade Bennett, on April 24, 2023. Eric was a fun, adventurous, vibrant man with an infectious laugh. He found humor in every aspect of life and had a gift of making even daily life events funny and interesting. We loved hearing his way of telling stories with great entertainment and laughter. Eric was also a very caring and giving individual, who never hesitated to lend a helping hand to those in need. He often put his own needs aside to help others. This was one of many ways he made those around him feel important and loved. Eric was intelligent, creative and easy-going. He was talented in his ability to learn quickly and fix just about anything. He enjoyed photography early in life and developed a talent for oil painting, more recently. Eric graduated from Redwood High School in Visalia, California in 1983. Following graduation, he joined The Navy. After his military service, he pursued other interests. His most recent career choice was working as a hairdresser after graduating from Lyle's Beauty College in 2019. He enjoyed his work as well as teaching students the trade. Recently, he added a part-time job at Wal-Mart, stocking shelves in the evenings where he easily made many friends. Eric is survived by his son, Nathan whom he adored, his father Melvin Bennett (Marian), his stepfather Greg Guy, siblings Randy (Frances), Kim Uriarte, Dusty (Vera), Levi, Heidi, Sandra Garza (Jeff), Marc (Cheryl), Chisum (Amber) and Heather Rollema (Jess) as well as a plethora of nieces/nephews and great-nieces/nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Jerolyn Guy. Services will be held Friday, June 9, 2023 @ 11 a.m. Loma Vista Community Church 9905 E.
