Eric Sean Altamirano

Eric Sean Altamirano, 53, of Visalia, California, passed away unexpectedly on January 3rd, 2021 while pursuing his love for adventure and living his life to its fullest. Eric was a loyal and beloved manager of the Sleep Center for Kaweah Delta Hospital, where he was employed for over 30 years. During his time as a manager, Eric impacted the lives of those around him not only through his leadership, but also as a mentor and as a friend. Eric was deeply devoted to his family, always placing them above himself and committing himself to being the best son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather he could be. This legacy of love is what will be carried on in the hearts and minds of his friends and family for generations to come. Eric loved adventure and being outdoors. He felt happiest with the sun on his face and the wind in his hair. Whether it was biking, fishing, hunting, running, hiking, skiing, or camping, Eric made countless memories with the family and friends that had the honor of sharing in every new adventure he embarked on. Perhaps the thing that will be missed the most is his contagious smile and his laugh, both of which brightened a room and filled hearts full of joy. Eric had accepted God into his life in 2013 and the love he received from God overflowed into those around him. His love was steadfast and unwavering. Within his short time on this earth, he lived 10 lifetimes worth of love, memories, and adventures. The example of unconditional love he showed will be carried on in our hearts and in our lives forever. Eric is preceded in death by his mother Rachel Altamirano and survived by his loving wife Sue Ellyn Altamirano, adoring children Brynne Caitlyne Brazil, Brooke Ellyn McRae, Seth Hunter Altamirano, devoted brother Ralph Lee Arlee Altamirano, cherished granddaughter Aria Cait Brazil, grandsons Nicholas Art Oliva, Nathan Conner Oliva, Logan Thomas Hathaway, Landin Paul Dominguez, Stepdaughters Christianna Nichole Oliva and Lauren Marie Dominguez. Eric's life and legacy will be honored in a service taking place Saturday, January 30th at 1:00pm, however, during these unique times and limitations on guests, the family asks that you celebrate Eric and his legacy virtually via a live stream offered by the funeral home Salser & Dillard through their website (), in which all are welcome.
