Elizabeth Michelle Gibson

Elizabeth Weigant Raley entered the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 25, 2024. Elizabeth was born October 14, 1981 in Visalia, California, to her proud parents, Duane and Claudia Weigant. She couldn't wait to enter this world, arriving one month early, to surprise her Dad on his 30th birthday. Birthdays were always special, celebrating together, along with her Aunt Susan. Beth was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt. She grew up in Visalia, graduating from Central Valley Christian High School in 1999. She attended First Baptist Church, now Gateway Church. As a young girl, while attending First Baptist, she enjoyed helping in the preschool Sunday School classes. In 2000 she welcomed her son, Skyler Moore, whom she loved with all of her heart. Beth put her whole heart into loving people. She lit up the room and our lives with her bright smile and her big bear hugs always with an "I love you!" Her hugs were the true definition of a "bear hug" because you felt like you had been hugged by a bear! Because of her genuine concern and care for others Elizabeth had decided that she wanted to be an organ donor. We would like to thank Adventist Health Emergency Room staff in Tulare, the Neuro ICU 2 at CRMC in Fresno, and Donor Network West for the compassionate care of our daughter. Also for the compassion and kindness shown to our family, we will be forever grateful. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Charles Weigant and Darrell Wineman. She is survived by her parents; her husband, Maximilian Raley; son, Skyler Moore; brother, Ian Brook Weigant; sister, Kristen Langbauer; grandmothers, Elizabeth Sobieralski and Florence Wineman; aunts and uncles Ed (Susan) Weigant, Steve (Shelly) Weigant, Randy Weigant, Marsha (Dan) Medley and cousins too numerous to list. Celebration of Life will be held at Gateway Church, 1100 S. Sowell, Visalia, California Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to DonorNetworkWest.org/Foundation or the Childrens' Ministry at Gateway Church.
