Dianne Smith-Nava, born July 6, 1965, beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, niece, aunt, and wife, passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by the love of her family on May 26,2026. She leaves behind her loving husband, Rudy Nava; her daughters, Danielle Wilhoit and her husband, Jarrod Wilhoit, and Krista Smith and her fianc�, Aaron Hamilton; her stepdaughter, Erika Ballard; her beloved grandchildren, Ryker, Ethan, Sophia, Maddison, and Presley, who lovingly called her "Ga"; her parents, Frank and Lana Smith; and a niece and nephews who held a special place in her heart. She was preceded in death by her beloved younger brother, Frank Smith Jr. Dianne loved the people in her life with an honest and complete love. Everyone who knew her remembers the warmth and kindness she carried so naturally. She loved traveling to the beach and exploring new places, especially knowing her husband would always find little shops for her to wander through because she loved to shop. She found joy in plants, her dogs, and jewelry - bling was truly her thing - and she delighted in the beauty of life's small treasures. She was known for her creativity and the beauty she created with her hands, especially her beadwork and jewelry, each piece carrying her unique touch and spirit. Like tiny constellations woven together with patience and heart, her creations reflected the way she loved: carefully, quietly, and with meaning. She had a gift for turning ordinary moments into keepsakes of the soul, reminders that beauty can still bloom even after hardship. Rudy Nava, the love of her life, was blessed to spend 12 years by her side, with nearly 11 of those years spent married. Together they built a life rooted in love, family, and devotion. Eleven years ago, Dianne gave her life to God through baptism and faithfully sought Him every day after. Her faith became one of the guiding lights of her life, and she leaves behind the legacy of a strong Christian woman whose love, compassion, and spirit touched many. She lived a life that was deeply human, filled with both light and shadow, tenderness and complexity. Those closest to her knew her not as flawless, but as deeply real: a woman whose heart carried both storms and sunlight. The memories she leaves behind are textured with truth, resilience, laughter, and enduring love. Though her passing was unexpected, the love she gave and the beauty she created remain woven into the lives of those who knew her. Her presence lingers in shared stories, treasured memories, and the hearts forever shaped by her life.
