Denton Wayne White

Denton Wayne White, lovingly known as Denny, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025, at the age of 83, in Visalia, California. Born February 26, 1942 to Carl and Maxine White, Denny grew up with his siblings, David White, Connie Davis, and Paulette Wing. He was a devoted brother, uncle, and friend, whose life's work was rooted in helping others. With a caring heart, Denny spent much of his life babysitting and nurturing two generations of nieces and nephews, leaving a lasting impact on their lives. Denny's passions centered around his faith, family, and fellowship. He found joy in attending church, sharing fellowship with friends, and living out his strong and steady faith in God. Known for his honesty and kind spirit, he was a source of comfort, encouragement, and laughter to all who knew him. He enjoyed simple pleasures-watching movies, snacking, and sipping on his favorite drink, Diet Dr Pepper. Denny's love for life was reflected in his everyday moments, where he found happiness in being with those he loved. One childhood memory that reflects his guiding nature took place when he and his sister Connie were walking to school during a storm. Connie, frightened and lost, began to cry, but young Denny comforted her with the words, "Don't worry, Connie, I know the way to school." That moment captured the essence of who he was-a steady, reassuring presence who always pointed the way forward. Denny was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Maxine White, his brother, David White, and his sister, Paulette Wing. He is survived by his sister, Connie Davis, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends who will deeply miss him. His legacy of love, faith, and honesty will live on in all the lives he touched. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Exeter Church of the Nazarene, located at 400 West Visalia Road, Exeter, California 93221. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring Denny's memory and the faith-filled life he lived. After the celebration of life, food and drink for family and friends will be held at the reception hall, next door to the church. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
