Dennis Eric Jepson

Dennis Eric Jepson, a beloved husband and father of two, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024, at age 60. Son of David and Carol Jepson, he was born in Long Beach on June 11, 1963. He graduated from Mt. Whitney High School in 1982. In 1987, he married his first wife, Diane. Together, they had two beautiful kids, Tiffany and Sean, where many memories were created and cherished. Dennis and Diane were married for 26 years. One of Dennis' life-long goals was to achieve a half-century of work years at Kaweah Health. Dennis worked at the hospital for 44 years. Before he died, the district paid tribute to Dennis with an honorary 50 years of exceptional service award. Through the years, Dennis enjoyed playing golf, playing cards, watching his Raiders win and hitting the tables at the casino. Dennis was a man with no hidden agenda. You knew what you were going to get with him. He was the loudest person in the room. First and foremost, Dennis was a family man. A giver, he made sure he was always available to help family and friends. A loving husband to his second wife, Paige, they had many adventures together, like, driving to Three Rivers to enjoy some ice cream at Reimer's. They were married at the beach in Maui, where they also traveled together with his lifelong friends and had many fun moments together. Dennis was a devoted father. His kids were his pride and joy. Later on, his granddaughter Zooey came along and his world was brighter. He always wanted to be a grandpa, and in his final days, he gifted Zooey a basketball hoop for her second birthday. She responded with slam dunking the ball right in front of him. An unforgettable moment. Additionally, Dennis was the best brother and uncle. Just ask his siblings, nieces and nephews. Dennis was preceded in death by his brother, Kevin, and nephew, Kevin Jr., and a few of his wonderful dogs. He is survived by his wife Paige, two children Tiffany (Vongni) and Sean, mother Carol, father David (Gracie), sister Jill (Robert), brother Mike (Denise), granddaughter Zooey, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and their companion dogs Bella and Riley. Though we lost Dennis so sudden, his impact in this world will be felt amongst his family, friends, colleagues and many others. In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family asks those who can to please make a donation to Kaweah Health Hospice. Viewing will be held 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM Tuesday, February 27th, 2024 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 28th, 2024 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will be held 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 28th, 2024 at Visalia District Cemetery, 1300 W Goshen Ave., Visalia.
