David Davila Alvarez

On a sunny January morning, January 3, 2022, David Davila Alvarez came into the world as the youngest of three siblings. Alongside his older sister Ximena and older brother Osvaldo, David completed a loving trio. As the youngest of 33 grandchildren, David was showered with abundant love and attention from his adoring parents, siblings, grandparents, uncles, and cousins. He treasured the joyful moments spent playing with his siblings, and his preferred breakfast included eggs, tortillas, and oatmeal. Among his favorite dishes, Chicken Soup with vegetables held a special place in his heart, and he had a deep fondness for various types of fruits. A visit to the park, accompanied by the serene sounds of praise music dedicated to God, was his cherished pastime. Notably, David possessed a natural sociability that extended to both familiar faces and strangers alike. "Hola" (Hello) was his favorite word, and he would greet others with a warm smile and a friendly hello. In the memories of his loved ones, David will forever be known as Dad's little engine, Mom's king, and celebrated for his beauty by his sister Ximena. His brother Osvi likened him to Captain America, Aunt Zarahi fondly remembered him as the Emosho Baby, and Uncle Jose Emmanuel called him Davison. Cousin Jazmine admired his handsome looks, while cousin Karlita affectionately referred to him as El Chacho. Aunt Coco lovingly called him "My beautiful Lavid," and Nina Erika adored him as her "Trompudo." Nina Carmelita referred to him as her precious little thing, and Nino Meno affectionately called him her shaggy-haired one. Grandma Margarita lovingly called him Davisito, and from Mom Coco, he was her beautiful boy. As time does not exist in heaven, they eagerly await a reunion with their guardian angel, David. Viewing will be held 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM Monday, June 12th, 2023 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia. Rosary will follow from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial services will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday, June 13th, 2023 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 608 N. Church Street, Visalia. Graveside services will be held 12:00 PM Tuesday, June 13th, 2023 at Visalia District Cemetery, 1300 W Goshen Ave, Visalia. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
