Darrel Wayne Noel

It is with great sadness that the family of Darrel Wayne Noel announces his passing after a brief illness, on Wednesday September 6th, 2023 at the age of 69 years. Darrel will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 34 years, Brenda Kay Noel and his three daughters, Melissa Marie Noel, Amanda Lindsay Carter (Jason Carter) and Bethany Lara Noel. Darrel will also be fondly remembered by his four grandchildren, Madison Faith Maciel, Dylan Michael Vasquez, Lucas Alvin Carter and Evan Micah Vasquez and his brothers and sisters, Barbara Petree, Gary Noel, Danny Noel, Charles Noel and Sharon Alvis. Darrel was preceded in death by his parents L.T. Noel and Bessie Noel, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Tom Slavens and Georgina Slavens, and Darrel's two brothers, Ray Lasswell and Jack Lasswell. Darrel was born in Dinuba, CA on October 24, 1953 to L.T. and Bessie Noel. He graduated from Dinuba High School in 1972. He held many jobs in agriculture and retired from Kings River Tractor as a mechanic in 2015. Darrel welcomed his first daughter Melissa in May of 1979 and his twin daughters Amanda and Bethany in July of 1985. Darrel met the love of his life, Brenda in October of 1989 and they were married in September of 1999. Darrel enjoyed working on many of his vehicles he had over the years, especially his favorite lowered, red Chevy Silverado. He enjoyed riding his Harley with his friends and also enjoyed tending to his beautiful yards and gardens. Darrel loved trips to Pismo with his wife Brenda, attending car shows, home and garden shows, and he liked watching The Challenge and car racing shows on TV when he was relaxing. His favorite types of music were Classic Rock and Country. Darrel's favorite foods were hot dogs, a great steak and a good pie. He enjoyed drinking bloody mary's and Eggnog with whiskey during the holidays. Everyone knew Darrel by his stunning blue eyes, friendly smile, and of course his Darrel-ism's, "Are you kidding me" "Is that right" and "No Sh*t"! Darrel will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. So the next time you have a great steak, a good piece of pie or a tasty bloody mary just think of Darrel. Darrel Noel's memorial service is scheduled for 12pm on September 23rd, 2023 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel in Visalia, CA. Darrel's celebration of life will follow at BellCraft Brew Co in Exeter, CA starting at 2:30. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
