Craig Douglas Kinoshita

Craig Kinoshita passed away peacefully at home on February 27, 2024 after a courageous 3 year battle with Covid induced pulmonary fibrosis. Craig was the eldest of two children born to Yutaka (Tex) and Yoshiye Kinoshita in Merced, CA on February 20, 1959. His sister Cheryl was born one year later. Craig and his sister grew up on the family ranch in Winton, CA where his parents grew peaches and almonds. Craig graduated from Atwater High School in 1977 and had a successful 42 year career with John Deere farming dealerships at Ranchers Tractor in Merced, CA and Lawrence Tractor Company in Tipton, CA where he became a manager until his passing. Craig met Deborah almost 20 years ago and together they built a life in Visalia, CA hosting Japanese exchange students, helping families in need, participating in local 5k events, and traveling to the coast. Craig loved his family, his dogs, his friends, his home, creating beautiful succulent arrangements and the Raiders. Craig was a man of few words, with a generous heart, who never had an unkind word to say about anyone. He was a man of integrity and loyalty as demonstrated by the lifelong relationships he had with his friends, co-workers and customers. During the last few years, Craig had accepted the Lord into his life with the help of Pastor Brian Salber. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife Deborah, his sister Cheryl and brother-in-law Michael. His best friend John Hunter (Gina), lifelong friends Bobby and Patti Sheets, dear friends Matt and Janna Daglish (Cassandra), the loving family of Rick and Kendal Williams (of whom he considered as his second family), his aunt Betty and numerous cousins, neighbors and friends. A special thank you goes out to Workmans Comp nurse Kelli Brock who tirelessly advocated for Craig's continual care, and all his compassionate Amdel care providers (Christina, Melissa, Nelli and Joann). Also, to the heartfelt care provided by all the staff at American Hospice, especially Candy, Tracy and Rachel. Their hard work and dedication made it possible for Craig to receive care in his own home. Your kindness and love is truly appreciated. Craig my dear husband, may it give you comfort and peace to know that you are loved by many and missed by all who knew you and are now breathing comfortably in God's hands.
