Bridget Hansen

Bridget Vergina Hansen, of Lemoore, was discovered deceased in her bed as a result of a heart attack on the morning of Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at the age of 48. Bridget was born in Lemoore, CA on August 20, 1966 to Leroy and Darlene Hansen. She was preceded in death by grandparents Jewel and William Dillard of Hanford, Burl and Avis Hansen of Lander, Wyoming, and her brother Dustin Hansen of Hanford. She is survived by her parents Leroy and Darlene Hansen, sister Kimberly Hansen, sister Jody and her husband Bryan Perry, son Daniel McCoy and his wife Jessica McCoy, son Dylan Hansen-Sitter, daughter Sydney Hansen, granddaughters Kaydence and McKenna McCoy, loving companion Joe Jackson, as well as a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Bridget worked several years in healthcare, where she tended to the sick and elderly within their homes. She eventually began working for a number of years as a waitress, as well as construction. Bridget enjoyed a wide array of music. She regularly attended BBQs and gatherings, constantly surrounded by family and friends. She attended church on a regular basis and was a faithful child of God, entrusting all to Him. No matter the circumstance, Bridget was always there for anyone who needed her, friend or stranger, and stood as a pillar of support for all those lucky enough to have met her. She was not shy or afraid to be herself- even around the strangest of strangers. She loved life and compelled everyone she met to have fun, enjoy life, forgive all, and love abundantly. Bridget loved her children, and as a single mother, had devoted her life to providing the best life she could for them. She supported them in any and all endeavor they chose, and knew when to be a friend and when to be a mother. She will truly be missed by all and we thank the Lord for blessing us with such a wonderful daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to all who have so graciously supported our family during this unexpected tragedy. There are truly no words to describe the appreciation for the love and solace we have received during this time. “Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstance, for this is Gods will for you.”
