Arthur Aguinaga Ramos

Arthur A Ramos was born in Tulare, California on November 26, 1961 to Manuela (Vicky) Ramos & Ramon Ramos. Art gained his wings peacefully on May 11, 2026 at the age of 64. He attended local schools and graduated from Redwood High School. He worked alongside his family in the fields until his first job during high school at the Holiday Inn, from there he continued on to work at Giant Chevrolet for many years, including a local tire shop. He also worked at one of the first hydraulic shops in the valley known as Raul's Hydraulics. His last employer was the Glass Shop here in Visalia as a glazier up until his neck injury which prevented him from working any longer. Art also volunteered for non-profit organizations with the Mexican American Golf Association and Perico Productions. Art became an alter boy at Holy Family Catholic Church as a young boy. His love for lowriding gave him the desire to enter car shows up and down the state of California so everyone could also enjoy seeing him "hopping' his beautiful lowriders. You could always find Art working on those hydraulics. He loved spending time with family and friends Bar-B-Quing and reminiscing on family memories. He had a great sense of humor, always making people laugh with the stories that he told. As an avid Raider and Yankee fan he enjoyed watching those games with his neighbor and friends. He especially loved hanging out with his eldest grandson Arthur Ramos III, his unconditional love for his grandkids was unmeasurable. We will certainly miss his laughter, jokes and his stubbornness. Art was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Andy, Julian, Filomeno Jr, Phillip, Henry, Johnny and Danny. He is survived by his sons Arturo Jr. (Sandra) Ramos and Jacob Ramos, 14 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter, his sisters Susie Carrasco and Mary (Tino) Serrato, his brothers Robert (Mary) and Gilbert (Mistie) Gonzales, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM Friday, May 29th, 2026 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia. Funeral services will be held 9:00 AM Saturday, May 30th, 2026 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, May 30th, 2026 at Visalia District Cemetery, 1300 W Goshen Ave, Visalia. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
