Anthony Joseph Lourence

Anthony (Tony) Joseph Lourence passed away on July 8, 2023 in Visalia, Ca. He was born to Mary Lourence and Antonio Lourence, in Waukena, Ca. Then his family relocated and moved to Lemoore, Ca. where his parents bought a dairy. Tony graduated from Lemoore High School and after getting married, relocated to Visalia. Upon leaving the dairy, Tony started working at Foremost in Lemoore and then started working at Knudsen's in Visalia for 36 years. This is where Tony met and married Geraldine. They were married for 37 years and created a beautiful, blended family. Tony enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved to travel and also getting to spend time at the house they had at the coast. Tony also loved to go to the casino - always hoping to win it big. Tony never knew a stranger and everyone who knew him, loved him. He will be missed by all. Tony is survived by his wife Geraldine Lourence, his children; daughters, Antonette (Andi) White of Exeter, Ca., Bernadette Odom MS, Claudette Jones (Ken) of Tulare, Ca., and sons Rod Adam (Kami) of Visalia, Ca., Jeff Adam (Lisa) of Tulare, Ca., Chris Adam (Rebecca) of Visalia, Ca., Scott Petty of Visalia, Ca. Tony also has 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Tony is also survived by his sister Mary Fontes of Visalia, Rose Lourence of Visalia, Jane Seward (Cliff) of Atascadero, Ca., and his brother John Lourence (Frances) of Lemoore, Ca. As well as many nieces and nephews. Tony is preceded in death by his father Antonio Lourence, his mother Mary Lourence, his sister Greta Gregorio, and Mable Lemos. Matthew 5:8 Viewing will be held 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM Wednesday, July 19th, 2023 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia. Prayer Service will follow from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, July 20th, 2023 at Exeter District Cemetery, 719 E. Marinette Ave., Exeter. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
