In Loving Memory of Anna Marie Herrera September 17, 1945 - June 27, 2025 With deep sorrow and love, we announce the passing of Anna Marie Herrera, who went home to be with the Lord on June 27, 2025. Born on September 17, 1945, In Visalia, California Anna was a god-fearing woman of strength, grace, and beauty. Her life was a testament to her faith, love for family, and commitment to serving others. She dedicated over 30 years of service to the Visalia Unified School District, where she retired after touching on the lives of countless students, families, and colleagues. Her devotion to education and her community extended far beyond the classroom. Anna was actively involved in multiple organizations and dedicated much of her time to volunteering and giving back. She was a proud volunteer with Exeter pink ladies and served faithfully as the President of the Altar and Rosary Society (ARS) with the GOOD SHEPHERD CATHOLIC PERISH Where her leadership and devotion to the church community were deeply felt. With her involvement in these organizations, she was allowed to express her passion for creativity, design and decoration. A devoted member of her church, she played a significant role in her faith community and spent many years teaching catechism, helping guide and inspire the next generation in their spiritual journeys. Anna Marie leaves behind a loving family: her two daughters, Joanna Herrera Porras and Monica Herrera; her son-in-law, Mike Porras; six beloved granddaughters, four grandsons, and four great-grandchildren all of whom will miss her deeply and carry her memory in their hearts. Anna Marie Herrera was a beacon of kindness, strength, and elegance. Her legacy of love, faith, and service will live on through those who were blessed to know her. Preceding her in death are her parents. Father Anthony Garcia, Mother Clotilde Blair and husband Albert Herrera. Visitation will be held 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM Wednesday, July 23rd, 2025 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia. Rosary will follow at 12:30 PM. Mass of Christian Burial services will be held 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM Wednesday, July 23rd, 2025 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 608 N. Church Street, Visalia. Graveside services will be held 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM Friday, July 25th, 2025 at Visalia District Cemetery, 1300 W Goshen Ave, Visalia. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
