Angelina Frances Grajeda

Angelina (Angie) Frances Grajeda was born in Visalia, California on May 10, 1936. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Quail Park Memory Care from Alzheimer's Dementia. She is survived by three daughters, Kathleen Grajeda, Trish Bozzo and Angie Tazio; four grandchildren; Nicole Greenwood, Ashley Bozzo, Lucy Tazio and Cecily Grajeda, two sons-in-law, Greg Bozzo and Patrick Tazio; one grandson-in-law, Scott Greenwood and one brother, Edward Velasquez. Proceeded in her death are her husband, Theodore H. Grajeda Sr., her sons; Theodore H. Grajeda Jr., Michael Grajeda and Philip Grajeda. Angie attended Visalia Union High School and graduated in 1952. She married Theodore H. Grajeda on December 22, 1954, and raised six children. With her husband, they owned and operated Sequoia Air Conditioning for 16 years. Angie loved to garden, bake, sew, volunteer and spend time with her grandchildren. She was devout catholic and very involved in her church. She loved singing in the church choir at St. Mary's Catholic Church. She volunteered at the church's religious education program and the Bethlehem Center also known as Sister Ursula's Kitchen. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, The Alter and Rosary Society and The Visalia Lion's Club. Angie had a generous, giving heart and enjoyed serving the Lord, her family, church and community. She was an excellent cook and loved baking. While working at the Visalia Fire Department, she frequently brought them her famous breakfast quiche and million dollar cake. Mamita G, you were an amazing woman and role model to all of us. We love you and will see you again in paradise. Angie's family would like to sincerely thank, Kaweah Health Private Home Care, Quail Park Memory Care and Kaweah Health Hospice for all the care and love they provided. Viewing will be held 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM Thursday, August 3rd, 2023 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia. Followed by the Rosary at 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial services will be held 9:00 AM Friday, August 4th, 2023 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 608 N. Church Street, Visalia. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 4th, 2023 at Visalia District Cemetery, 1300 W Goshen Ave, Visalia. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
