Andrea "Angie" Ojeda Martinez, lovingly known as Mom, Grandma, Nana, Gigi, Tia Angie, and Andrea, passed away peacefully on May 4th, 2026 at the age of 78 in Fresno California, surrounded by the love of her family. Andrea was born on February 17th, 1948 in Lubbock Texas to Jose Ojeda and Petra Mojica. She lived a life rooted in love, faith, strength, and devotion to family. A woman of deep Catholic faith, Andrea carried herself with quiet grace and unwavering strength. Even through pain and life's hardships, she continued to push forward with resilience that inspired everyone who knew her. She had a warm, comforting presence-never one to demand attention, but always someone who made others feel safe, welcomed, and loved simply by being near her. Andrea was the beloved wife of Samuel Martinez for 38 years. Together they built a life centered around family, love, and perseverance. She was a devoted mother to Rosalinda Martinez, Greg Martinez, Raymond Martinez, Sammy Martinez & Terri Falcon, a proud grandmother to Pleschaet Garza, Nicole Rodriguez, Sean Falcon, Britanny Falcon, Mariah Pancirov and T.J Martinez, and a cherished great-grandmother to Issac Sanchez, Ethan Sanchez, Ryden Arteaga, Makyra Martinez, and Carson Pancirov. She was preceded in death by her husband Samuel Martinez and her son Sammy Martinez, losses she carried with tremendous strength and love. Andrea found joy in spending time at the casino, going out to eat and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her love was shown in countless quiet ways-in her care, her prayers, her comforting words, and simply her presence. Her family will forever remember her gentle spirit, her strength, her faith in God, and the love she poured into each of them. Though our hearts are broken by her loss, we take comfort in knowing her suffering has ended and that she is now reunited in Heaven with those who went before her. The family finds peace in imagining her welcomed into eternal rest, whole again, surrounded by love. Andrea leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, faith, and family that will continue for generations. The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers for their compassion and care during Andrea's final days. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. Visitation will be held 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM Wednesday, May 27th, 2026 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia. Rosary will follow at 6:00 PM. Homily of Prayers services will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, May 28th, 2026 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will be held 12:00 PM Thursday, May 28th, 2026 at Tipton Pixley Cemetery District, 10395 Avenue 144, Tipton. , 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia.
