Allan Douglas Wallace

Allan Douglas Wallace, age 72, of Visalia, California peacefully passed away in his home on June 10, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was born on January 21, 1950, to Donald Leslie and Melba June Wallace in Coalinga California. Allan attended school in Coalinga and graduated from Coalinga High School in 1968. After graduation he began working in the family mechanic business and eventually this is where he began his truck driving career. Allan loved working as a truck driver. He hauled everything from livestock to glass to lumber. During his travels he visited all of the 48 Continental United States. Allan knew all the major interstates, highways, and even some backroads throughout the United States. He was well known to all of his kids and grandkids as a walking road map. Allan was a very generous man and cared more about the welfare of others than himself. He didn't't know a stranger. He has many friends that he has acquired over the years from all over the US. He made it a point to keep in contact with his friends and family. It might only be a quick conversation, but he still made sure you knew that he was thinking about you. He will be most remembered and missed on our birthdays. He never missed calling someone on their birthday, usually being the first call of the day. He didn't't keep a calendar or list of birthdays; he could recite all his kids and grandchildren's birthdays from memory. He is survived and lovingly remembered by his daughter Traci Cutler (Rick), son Daryn Wallace (Michelle), son Brett Wallace, son Adam Kilebrew, and son Travis Wallace. He will also be remembered by his 23 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, as well as siblings, nephews, and friends. He is predeceased by his mother, Melba Valencia and father Donald Wallace, son Phillip Kilebrew, and daughter in law Casey Wallace. As previously mentioned, Allan traveled all 48 continental states and just a few years ago finally made a trip to Hawaii. He always desired to make it to Alaska to say he made it to all 50 states, but unfortunately that didn't't happen during his lifetime. As a tribute to him, his family will be taking his remains to Alaska for his final resting place. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 5, 2022 at 10:00 AM at The Gardens, 950 North J Street, Tulare, Ca 93274. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
