Born April 17, 1937 to Carl and Maude Nelson. She is survived by her son Mark Dunn and daughter Cindy Erpelding and three grandchildren, Cody, Cameron, and Colton Dunn. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Paul Charles Dunn and grandson Logan Erpelding. Pearline fought a very long hard battle with cancer. Her faith in God never wavered. Pearline and her sister Joy and brother Marvin were born to deaf parents and learned to sign before they learned to speak and were very prolific in sign. Pearline was very artistic and could draw or paint almost anything. Her Faith was the center of her life Rarely did anyone enter her home without noticing her huge well-worn Bible on the coffee table. She was a faithful member of Pentecostal Lighthouse from its inception until her health declined to the point where she could no longer attend. But she still supported her church in every way until her passing. She was a strong supporter in Paul and Mark starting the business of Dunn's Sand and Gravel, which has grown to where Dunn's trucks and equipment are a common site in central California areas. She was so proud of how hard Mark worked to expand and prosper the business after Paul's passing. She loved her family dearly and would often ask her daughter to pray for her other grandsons and Mark. Anyone who had the privilege of hearing her pray would feel the reverence, honor, and ultimately the sweet presence of God. As if you were in a Holy place. "Sweet Loving Savior" were often heard from her lips as she prayed. And she really did feel that way about her Jesus. Her sense of humor was especially keen. Weather it was her children or grandchildren, she never passed an opportunity for a gentle teasing or joke. And the subtle message of "I really love you so much" was always felt and understood through it. Pearline was hugely generous. If there was ever anyone who had a need or even a want she was prone to make sure it was met to almost a fault. Generosity was just in her nature. She worked various jobs throughout her life including the early days as a telephone operator. Johnson yearbook. Peter Perkins florist. Bookkeeper among various other jobs. She was proud of the fact that her and Paul were able to visit the Holy Land of Israel, go on an Alaskan cruise, and visit her daughter, son-in-law and grandson in Montana numerous times. She had lifelong friends that she never lost contact with and was loyal to everyone she loved. She fought cancer so bravely for many years and never gave up until days before her passing. Her family is so incredibly thankful for all those who took such special loving care of her and all those who've prayed for her throughout the years. Her caretakers came to love her so deeply and doted on her. She cared about them and their families too. Her request was that when the time came she could be at home and to those who made that possible Thank You is not sufficient for the gratitude that we feel. She will be missed more than words can say. "Precious (important and no light matter) in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints (His loving ones)."
