Paul Raymond Miller

Paul Raymond Miller passed away peacefully at home on October 9, 2022. Paul was born on December 5, 1954 in Hanford, California to Russell and Viola Miller. Paul was one of five brothers and attended Hanford High School. Upon graduation Paul enlisted in the United States Army where he was able to spend time in Germany and Colorado before coming back home and settling in Hanford. Paul enjoyed his time in the service and would express it was his honor and privilege to serve his country. Shortly after enlisting in the Army, Paul married Vicki Ellis. They had three children and eventually settled in Tulare, California where he was employed by Land O' Lakes until his retirement. Paul enjoyed the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and golfing. He took joy in sharing these activities with his children. In his later years he enjoyed playing video games on the xbox with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed watching football and never lost hope that his Los Angeles Rams would win another Superbowl. Paul grew into fatherhood. He was a fun dad that would watch cartoons with his children, Scooby-Doo, Thundercats and Teen Titans to name a few. He was always there to help each one of his children when they needed him no matter the circumstance. Whether that meant he needed to move out of a place that he had lived in for years or just lend a supportive ear, he was willing to help any way he could. Paul enjoyed watching all six of his grandchildren grow into the amazing people they are now. He was there for each of their births and loved being a grandpa to Matthew, Evan, Jacob, Emily, Lexi and Leah. He loved being at family gatherings to watch everyone interact with each other, hearing all of the conversations and the laughter. His last few days were spent with loved ones around him. Watching college football with his older brother Bill, his son holding his hand, a visit from his childhood friend Steve, and watching Scooby-Doo with his girls all while listening to his granddaughters providing laughter for him up until the very end. Paul was preceded in death by his parents Russell and Viola along with his brother Russell Miller, his brother Larry Miller and his brother Jerry Miller. Paul is survived by his brother Bill Miller and his wife Karen, sister-in-law Trish Rodriguez, his daughter Valerie Walker and her husband Cliff, his daughter Rachel Overstreet, his son Cody Miller and his grandchildren Matthew Walker and his wife Darcy, Evan Walker, Jacob Walker, Emily Walker, Lexi Overstreet and Leah Overstreet.
