NAME: Norma B Price AGE: 78 RESIDENT OF: Visalia DATE OF DEATH: 09-03-2015 OCCUPATION: Educational Secretary PLACE OF DEATH: Visalia Norma Beth Price was called to be with our Lord and Savior on September 3, 2015. Norma was born to Kenneth and Martha Sheldon of Traverse City, Michigan in 1937. She was married to the late John Price in 1956. She worked as a secretary for Alpaugh High, ran a home day care and later worked 25 years in the personnel department for the Tulare County Office of Education where she made many friends. Norma attended the Visalia United Methodist Church and was active in Serpralo. Norma and John were avid followers of Visalia Rawhide Baseball. Norma loved family reunions and family gatherings were always at the top of her plans. She loved summer trips to Michigan, camping trips to the Sequoias, and opening her home to family and friends. Norma was preceded in death by her husband, John. She is survived by sisters Dory Hardley and Verna Pickard and a brother, Duane Sheldon; her son, Michael Price (Toni LeGras) of Cayucos, and Thomas Price (Cheryl) of Visalia; daughters, Janice Westbay (Rick) of Visalia, and Sherri Strickland (COL Kenneth, retired) of Gaston, Indiana; seven grandchildren: Chris Strickland (Ann), Ashley Ling (CPT Caleb), Brian and Jill Westbay, T.J. and Marissa Price, and Cheri Lujan; seven great-grandchildren (Madisen, Patrick, Evan, Harrison, Celia, Jayden, and Acacia), and numerous nephews and nieces. Norma joins her granddaughter, Savana Marie Price, in the arms of our Lord Jesus. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations are made to, American Cancer Society 110 W. Main Street, Visalia, California 93291; or, Central Valley Christian Schools, 5600 W. Tulare Ave, Visalia, CA 93277. Funeral service will be held at Visalia United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Visitation will be held, at Salser and Dillard Funeral Chapel from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Private burial.
