DAX JEFFREY TURNER Dec. 6, 1991 - Dec. 18, 2023 Visalia, CA On Monday, December 18th, 2023, we lost someone who will be impossible to forget. Dax Turner was a true original; he had a natural ability to make those around him feel special, and it was hard not to take notice when he was around. Dax was the embodiment of charisma, and even though he usually thought the mirror was the best-looking thing in the room, and loved to have a great time, those who knew him best would be more likely to tell you about his generous and kind heart. Growing up in Visalia was full of irreplaceable memories, but there were a few passions that remained throughout his life: his family, his friends, his love of baseball, his love of music, and his love of being anywhere on his motorcycle. Dax fiercely loved his family, but the four (Cort, Mom, and Dad) of them have the most unexplainable bond; they are, and always have been, a team. Some of their best moments were long talks while driving to a weekend baseball tournament, watching Dax be the star of any karaoke night, sitting in the stands at a Giants game, or listening to his beloved SMASHING PUMPKINS AND BLINK 182! On March 4, 2017, with the loss of his very best friend, and brother, Cort Turner, his world was shattered. Dax was the best big brother; they lifted each other, motivated each other, and always knew that they'd be there to take care of each other. When that part of his soul was taken, he struggled to understand life without his person. Dax found true love in a girl that would never leave his side, his Katie Bear, who was far more than a dog to him; she was a best friend and companion, but in late June of 2022, he found another magnetic connection that would change his life, his wife, Serina Turner. They married in June of 2023, and always considered themselves lucky to find each other. Dax will be unbearably missed by his wife, Serina, his mom, Tandi, and his dad, Jeff, but his physical absence will leave a hole in the hearts of countless others. WE LOVE YOU, DAX!!!!!! Graveside service will be at Visalia Cemetery on Dec. 29th at 11am, followed by a celebration of Dax's life at the Visalia Elks Lodge at 12pm.
