Barbara Ann Holguin

Barbara Ann Holguin, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on November 19, 2023, at the age of 58. She was born on August 4, 1965, to loving parents Gonzalo Cortez and Christina Cortez, who instilled in her a strong sense of family and a passion for life. Barbara Holguin was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Holguin III, who was/is her rock and soulmate. Their love was one for the ages, and their bond continues to inspire those who knew them. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Barbara was a devoted mother to her two children, Serrena C. Holguin and Frank C. Holguin IV. She poured her heart and soul into raising them, instilling in them the values of kindness, compassion, and perseverance. Her children were her pride and joy and always made sure to be there for them, no matter what. In recent years, Barbara found immense joy in spending time with her granddaughter, Avery Rose Holguin. Avery was the light of her life, and Barbara cherished every moment they spent together. From making homemade tortillas on Sundays to taking her shopping, their bond was unbreakable, and their love for each other was immeasurable. In her final years, Barbara embarked on numerous adventures with her family. They traveled far and wide, creating memories that will be cherished forever. Whether it was exploring new cities or relaxing on sandy beaches, Barbara embraced every moment, cherishing the time spent with her loved ones. Barbara Ann Holguin will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her contagious smile and unwavering love touched the lives of many. She leaves behind a legacy of love, family, and the importance of cherishing every moment. May her soul rest in eternal peace. Visitation will be held 4:00 PM Thursday, December 14th, 2023 at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia. Rosary will follow at 6:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial services will be held 10:30 AM Friday, December 15th, 2023 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 608 N. Church Street, Visalia. Graveside services will be held 12:00 PM Friday, December 15th, 2023 at Visalia District Cemetery, 1300 W Goshen Ave, Visalia. Services have been entrusted to Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
